Train vs. bus¶
The first and the last time this year I had to go to work were this Monday and Tuesday. I know it’s unfair (for you), but you have to deal with it.
In order to find out which transportation was better, I took the train on one day, and the bus on the next.
The train station is a bike-ride away, but I was late. So were the train. Lucky me.
The ticket is 102,- for one way (ieeek), the taking a month card cuts the price down to roughly 40%. For that you get a place to sit and power sockets.
The Bus leaves like five minutes to go away from home. It stops at every crossing section and takes longer than the train. The single ticket is about 129,- one way. The monthly ticket costs less, but cuts the ticket price down half.
When starting to write this I was confident that I will take the train only in future, but it looks like the monthly tickets card of the bus is cheaper. I will need to figure it our over Christmas, I think.
