Concert: Aphex Twin

So. Yesterday I took a day off to join the Øya-Festival. The tickets were a kind of expensive  if you’re just wanna see one or two acts a day, but I would have totally gone on Wednesday to Low - if I would have know early enough for the tickets not being sold out. Well, you can’t have everything. But Aphex Twin was on my list for a longer time and afaik he’s not playing that often. Therefore I took the chance.

But since the day-pass includes all the acts  that day I had to see some others as well, of course. On that opportunity I found White Denim and Fleet Foxes on which I’ll have a close look as well.

I was basically expecting one or two songs I knew, but what we got was a 90 min. live playing with video and light-performance. Took a moment to get used to it and adopt the expectations to it, but at the end it was OK. Though I have to admit that 90 min Aphex Twin is enough for me for a while…
