Soko/I thought I was an alien

I'm a bit behind here. There were several good albums coming out in 2012 and I simply didn't see them. What a shame.

One of the albums that came out was `Soko <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soko_(singer)>`_'s *I thought I was an alien*. When I mentioned her last album :ref:`2010-soko_not_so_cute` in 2010 (four years ago), it was quiet. Not much output. Maybe therefore this new album was even more surprising.

It is a sequel to her previous one, but Soko has outgrown her roots. The songs are more mature and grown up; the music is much more rich and complex than previously.

It took a long time to come make a follow up, even longer until I finally saw it and could listen to it. But she lived up to my expectations and I'm glad about that.

This album definitely goes into my collection as well.
