The days are passing and beside the usual Wednesday music I don't seem to get anything done. Well, that's not quite correct. There's other stuff going on. How would I be able to listen to music otherwise?

This weeks `Alt-J <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt-J>`__ comes with `An awesome wave <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Awesome_Wave>`_ via `KEXP <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KEXP>`_. They had Alt-j in their top albums for 2012.

Finally I've decided to get out with them as well.

Alt-J seem to be a bit nicer version of :ref:`The glitch mob <2011-the_glitch_mob_drinking_the_sea>`, a bit less impulsive.

When I've heard the album the first time, almost the whole album just passed by without me noticing. This can be a good thing, but it wasn't. On their last chance (with the song below), they grepped their chance of drawing my attention. I wondered: If there's just one song sticking out, did I maybe miss something before?

Yes, I did.

Now, many hours later, many re-runs through their album later, I regret, that I almost dismissed their album into the abyss of bad music. There's a reason why I showed up on the list of good albums in 2012. The album is great.
