And drinks. `Sushi comes from Japan `__, the drinks from all over the world. A very good friend *smuggled* once some `tamarind fruits `__ from `Venezuela `__ and gave me some of them. The taste is somewhere between sour and acidic. But never both at the same time. I like tastes which change while you're eating them. Tamarind does this a lot. The difference between the fruit and the canned drink is, that you can actually eat the fruit. You will have a hard time with the drink, though. The taste of tamarind is followed by an impression best described as a furry carpet, rolling down your tongue. I made it half way through until I stopped. I rather have the fruit, thanks.
