Cannot answer

For the sake of my kids participating in social and sport activities, more clubs and the school are trying to force me to join the platform of their choosing.

I’ll save my rant about that for later.

What I find really annoying are the information emails being send out from those platforms which are usually characterized by a single main factor

• At the end you find the comment “It is not possible to answer to this e-mail.”

Every single time I get an e-mail like that, I feel lik somebody just dumped some stuff in my Inbox and is not interested at all in a conversation.

E-Mail is meant for having a conversation!

Not just sending mails and then running away and hiding to avoid any possible answer.

For those who do not know, in order to answer you have to:

1. Leave the e-mail 1. Log into their system/web-client 1. Find the recipient 1. Send the message from there 1. You do not have to keep a copy of the message you sent for yourself.

It is like calling somebody on the phone, telling them what you want to tell them and the just end the call. Robot-calls are probably not far off that.

I playing with the idea sending an e-mail everyday to their support from a non-recipient address myself and just asking them to implement the basic feature that makes it possible to answer to an email.

Wonder how they would feel about it?
