The last jedi

I just saw the latest “Star Wars”. From my working place I got some free tickets.

I am very sad to have to say that “Star Wars” probably is dead to me. If I would have payed the tickets, I would have regretted it. Very much so. As the Star Trek franchise, it has gone the way of general uneventfulness, simple entertainment and throw-away movies.

Maybe I am only getting older and have seen too many movies to be entertained. But if feels very much the opposite: I consider the quality of movies of the recent years to have sunken into a state, where it really does not matter if you have seen one or not. There are no new ideas. Nothing.
