Consert: Conor Oberst¶
Conor Oberst was playing in town. The tickets I’ve gotten for Christmas. Thinking about it I was already for several months since it showed up on my RSS feed.
That put a bit of pressure on some people to get me this gift earlier, and freed me from making my decision.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve listened a bit more to the music weeks before the concert, but I couldn’t make up my mind if it would be worth or not. As closer I got to the date though, as more and more I became sure that this might be a problem if I missed this concert. It felt as if I should just trust my instinct.
And my instinct didn’t betray me.
This concert was different. Seated places for everybody, us being too late and the people not talking at all in the rows behind the crowd. Everybody was caught by the music and the man on the stage.
While the talking between the songs wasn’t filled much with content and mentionable value, the music played on a totally different scale though. Every tune, every note, every bit and piece of music was perfectly performed. If you’ve ever wondered how much music two people on a stage can create, this is something you should have seen so you could refer to it.
