Stina Nordenstam/And she closed her eyes

Roughly about 15 years ago I’ve heard the first song of Stina Nordenstam. Obviously not knowing what I was dealing with got this song chased into my memory, the melody, the lyrics everything. It never crossed my mind that time to check out if there is more about this song, more about her maybe.

Then I forgot that this song existed. I still had it on CD, but it became buried under so much other songs and music. And I forgot.

This April I was listening to a playlist of another artist on YouTube. Just as Background music. And suddenly this voice began to sing, to put just the first two words into the air, so fragile and they almost broke when they felt down. I got struck by memories, pictures in my head and the melody. And when I fell, I fell softly into the waving harmonies …

Now I will never forget again.
