Munch Museum

I’ve finally been to the Munch Museum. After more that a year in this country this task can be marked as completed on my todo list. If I can recommend it? Well. Let me put it this way: If you just go there in order to see “The scream”, you might be disappointed. But if you start watching the other paintings and drawings as well, its getting quite good. The reason for this is probably that all the copies you’ve seen in the media of it obviously have been modified somehow: The colors are stronger, the face are a bit in a different shape, it looks a bit more modern or at least I remembered it that way. The original one doesn’t. But there are a couple of more interesting and well looking drawings as well which I’ve never heard of before. Therefore: Go there yourself and make your own opinion about it. It’s free entrance until the end of march as well.
