Movie: Predators

Yesterday I’ve been to the cinema, watching “Predators”. Actually I wanted to see that movie for while now, but I never made it to the cinema so far. Finally I found somebody to join me (going alone isn’t that much fun) and so we went there.

The movie reminded me to the first Predator Movie I saw in the last decade when I was younger. You know: the one with Arnold, huge guns and really tough guys how get the shit beaten out of them. It’s a very sketchy storyline and the focus is rather more on the action than on anything else. But that’s what is enough sometimes. And so it was yesterday.

You get exactly what you’re expecting when you’ve seen the first movie. A skin-deep story and a lot of action. The third part IMHO contained too many details and even the attempt to establish something like real characters with their own problems. Bullshit. When I watch a Predator-Movie, I don’t care about any romantical relationships, personal problems or anything that could drag my attention away from the aliens. When you fight against Predators you have to focus on the fight, do you understand.

That’s what this movie is about. And that was why I enjoyed watching it. It was simple, so simple……
