First man down

Guess what I was doing on Monday. Snowboarding for the first time.

On Wednesday? Snowboarding the second time. And it’s fun. Not meaning that I’ll drop the skis into the next corner, but currently I’m amazed enough to have ordered the necessary equipment yesterday. A kind of self-birthday-present, I think. The board I used for the testing this week was kindly borrowed from a colleague of mine - left him some candy in his bag; he probably hasn’t found it yet, I think.

Another one was joining me and so it was me on the snowboard and him on the skies for the first time. Must have looked hilarious, but every beginning is hard.

So until my stuff is arriving next week I’m back on skies, but then it might be really hard to decide every day what to use and what not. Life can be so difficult in winter time. All that snow and ice……
